Our Purpose

WHY DO WE EXIST?

Build a community of Brazilians in South Florida that is strengthened through female leadership.

HOW WE DO?

Connecting people. We put at the service of Brazilians the feminine nature, which welcomes, cares and makes it happen.

WHAT WE DO?

We work on social, political and economic causes, supporting existing projects and creating initiatives that promote the development of our community in South Florida, facilitating the Brazil-US cultural transition and strengthening the identity of the Brazilian immigrant.

Our chapter structure

The South Florida Chapter follows the same principles as the Central one in Brazil. It has been an autonomous unit of Grupo Mulheres do Brasil since 2019, today it is a “Non-profit organization” that has the 501-C3.

• The leadership of the regional chapter is shared by the three leaders, all of them having the same autonomy and decision-making power,
• We have 7 Committees that are also led in a shared way, ideally by at least two women, with the same power of autonomy and decision,
• Our volunteers are all women engaged and active in committee projects,
• We also have the Executive Committee and the Treasury that form the administrative structure of the association.
